English Fluency Fits Me Better

As a Filipino student, I cannot say that we shouldn’t be fluent in English even though we should. We should be practicing our skills in speaking English as the language itself is the most used and most vastly known language. If one would speak English, then for me, one would have an ease in dealing things in the society. It’s much easier to ask and to talk to other people of different nationality by just speaking in English. It’s not that everyone can speak English but to understand it would be fine but it would be better to speak in English. English is most used and since it’s used in many things here and out of our country truly proves that it’s valued and has importance to the community. It’s also important to me and especially to the science students to have fluency in the English language for we don’t use other language besides English in teaching our subjects besides Filipino and Social Studies. We mostly use English in the daily curriculum and play a crucial part to not only our school but also a crucial part to the community. It’s fundamental that we speak and understand English well. Not to mention that we could get humiliated if ever we are in foreign territory and we couldn’t even speak nor understand simple English. English now is also a basic language and the presently the basis if ever an individual is educated, How an individual would speak English is a basis; it also tells how decent a person is by how he talks in English. So for me it’s fluency of English first and foremost.
