The Alternative Plan of the Lovers of Verona

The Sealed Embrace

An ending to a tragic story is never complete for me. I always look for more possibilities, to look for a different ending, something much favorable, and so to test my writing skills, I would try to rewrite the ending of Romeo and Juliet. How their tragic love would end a different ending. I would always want to change how life could go for the two lovers, giving them a hope for love to prosper.

It would be Romeo set to travel to Verona. Yet he confronts a lot of delays on his way and found himself arriving Verona in the dead of midnight, in which only leaves Juliet an hour and a half time before waking up. Upon arriving the graveyard he saw a suspicious form near the tomb of Juliet and another one leaving the tomb with head faced to the ground. As he have come near, he saw the figures was Paris and his servant. Romeo thought he was visiting Juliet, and saw Paris shedding a tear or two and he felt his sorrow and grief. "Oh poor Paris grieving over my beloved. If must he want then he could." He let Paris leave and went in front of the tomb. Before he have entered, "Balthazar, I ask before you if you could leave me and allow me to have peace before my love." and Balthazar replied "But sir, If I would leave thee, would you promise your safety.", "Alas my good friend I pray to you happiness and prosperity for at my last order you have shed me your care yet that I could not promise. Just leave me be." with his last words Balthazar left.

As Romeo opened Juliet's tomb, he went to the side of his sleeping love, not knowing what he have missed. Meanwhile, Friar Lawrence was on the move to stop Romeo to doing what he was to do. While Romeo is at her side, he found humor upon seeing his love, "Oh, my beloved Juliet, how thy face of beauty defeated the rot of death?" He saw the face of beauty that have captured him, "Oh, How your face not be changed, still the face that captured my heart." He took the poison he bought and holds it high, he felt hesitation. "Why must it come to this? To be united to you I must die?" He brought the vial of poison to his mouth and ready to drink the poison when Friar Lawrence entered the tomb and shouted Romeo to stop, "Stop my child! You have not been informed, she is still alive! She appears to be dead yet asleep.", "How Friar! How did my love have come to this.", "This is the plan to help her be free in marrying Paris.", "Oh, Friar, When would my beloved be awakened from her slumber...", "Any moment Romeo." and from there Juliet rose and woke up from her slumber and woke up surprised. She saw Friar Lawrence and Romeo.

"Oh, My Beloved Romeo!" They hugged and each other for a long time where as it lasted an hour and Friar Lawrence have left them for their own time and he have waited on the entrance. While they were at the tomb the guards have arrived and the tomb had collapsed together with the lover inside buried under heavy ground. They didn't have anything to do but to ask Friar what have happened, and Friar have explained and both of the family have understand and relieve each other of the feud they had. The Montague and the Capulet have made statue of pure gold of Romeo and Juliet as a sign of their friendship.
